Commodity 03 · Chrome

The metal behind stainless steel.

Strategic chromite resources within South Africa's Bushveld Complex — structured for export at 75,000 tonnes per month.

Overview

A strategic position in Chrome.

Iyana's chrome development asset is positioned within the Bushveld Igneous Complex, which hosts roughly three-quarters of the world's known chrome reserves. The strategy is to supply high-quality chromite into the ferrochrome and stainless steel supply chains.

Chrome is indispensable to stainless steel production and a critical input for super-alloys serving aerospace, energy and infrastructure sectors. Demand fundamentals are reinforced by industrialisation in Asia and the energy transition.
